Motorists are advised to slow down, follow posted speed limits, pay attention, watch out for workers, obey signs and flaggers, and allow additional travel time for delays.
Temporary Lane Closure to be in Effect
Upcoming Harbor Bridge Project mainlane closure to affect all southbound US 181 mainlanes between Burleson Street and Beach Avenue. A detour to the frontage road will be in place.

Upcoming Harbor Bridge Project closure to affect the NW Loop Ramp to southbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway)
The Northwest Loop Ramp from Martin Luther King Drive and southbound US 181 to southbound SH 286 will be closed.
Street Closures Planned for the Mayor’s Big Bang Fireworks Celebration
The City of Corpus Christi advises residents and motorists beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, that various street closures will be in place for the Mayor’s 45th annual Fourth of July Big Bang Fireworks Celebration.
Operation Slow Down
Aransas Pass Police Department (APPD) will join Texas in Operation Slow Down. The event kicks off on June 7th and will run through Tuesday, June 21.
Harbor Bridge Project Long-Term Closure
Beginning Wednesday, June 8, until Wednesday, June 15, Comanche Street will be closed at the Mexico Street intersection. The long-term closure is necessary for utility work related to the Harbor Bridge Project.

New Traffic Signal Coming to Intersection of Purdue Road and Flour Bluff Drive
Purdue Road was recently extended west of Flour Bluff Drive. The extension has prompted new safety improvements.
City Advises Residents to Plan Ahead for Buc Days
Buc Days includes a rodeo, carnival, parades, concerts, shopping, and many other attractions. In anticipation of the large crowds, the city will be implementing a traffic plan to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
