Road Closures for the Week of February 5 – February 12, 2021
The Weekly Road Closures includes locations of road construction and events where lane and street closures affect traffic flow along the City’s major streets and lanes.
Everhart Road Project Lane Closures
Beginning Monday, February 1, the Everhart Road Project will require the closure of southbound lanes between South Padre Island Drive (SPID) and Corona Drive.
Holly Road Project
The scheduled reopening of the Holly Road and Ennis Joslin Road intersection has been delayed.
Six Points Intersection Construction
The City Council approved a $3.2 million dollar construction contract to Reytec Construction Resources, Inc. for the reconstruction of the Six Point Intersection.
Traffic Signal Work at Everhart Road and Holly Road Intersection
These signals will be temporarily turned off at 7am on January 23, and the outage should last approximately four hours.
Street Conversion Construction Begins
Streets will be closed one at a time, and as each street is completed it will be opened to the public for use.
Everhart Road Project
The Everhart Road project is moving one step closer to completion.
Road Closures for the Week of January 1-8
All closures are subject to change due to weather, emergency work, or other circumstances.
