Traffic - Mill and Overlay Repairs

Corpus Christi - The City’s Public Works Department will begin mill and overlay operations along several streets on Padre Island starting today, Thursday, February 25. The entire operation is expected to last until Wednesday, March 3.
Crews will be working on the following Areas:
Park Road 22 Access Road - from Jackfish Avenue to Commodores Drive/State Highway 361
Intersection of Jackfish Ave and Park Road 22
Intersection of Headsail Ave and Park Road 22
This work will require a daily closure of the southbound right lane along Park Road 22. The work zones will be open to thru traffic and will allow for access to businesses, but residents can expect delays for the temporary closures during the milling and overlay operations.
Safety is the City’s top priority. Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow all traffic control signals, and be cautious of flaggers.
