CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at approximately noon, the Corpus Christi Police Department was made aware of a possible threat at the location of 754 Flato Road (West Oso High School).  

Corpus Christi Police Department officers arrived at the school and immediately started an investigation.  Their investigation found that there was never a threat to the school. The school was initially placed on locked down while officers conducted their investigation, and the lockdown has since been lifted.
