Texas Rangers Investigating Fatal Shooting on Christmas Day

ROCKPORT, TEXAS (News Release) – On Christmas Day, 2025 at approximately 12:45 pm, Officers with the Rockport Police Department responded to a residence in the 700 block of North Ann Street. Upon arrival, two individuals had been shot. One of the individuals was found to be deceased and the second was transported by EMS to an area hospital. The incident is isolated to the location of occurrence and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
