Durning National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, Kleberg County dispatchers and Kingsville Police Department, received gift basket brought to them by The End Domestic Violence Task Force, which supports local law enforcement and The Purple Door.
The End Domestic Violence Task Force delivered donuts to the Kingsville Police Department to thank the officers for their service to the community.
Most people are aware of domestic violence when it escalates to physical harm and death. However, domestic violence often starts subtly with control and coercion.
Not only do we have a police department that is reeling from this tragedy, but somewhere out there is a family that was saved by the actions of these officers.
