The Defendant collided with a red SUV containing four individuals – Ulku Kaya, Timothy Greening, Robert Greening III, and Pamela Greening. All four individuals had attended the wedding of Ulku and Timothy approximately 30 hours before the collision.

Judge Joel Johnson, a retired visiting judge, was assigned to oversee the trial, and the Defendants elected for the Judge to assess punishment.

On November 5, 2025, local dealers Abraham Martinez also known as “Los” and James Waldrip also known as “Corey Davis” were sentenced to prison for various charges.

In jail calls, Padier explained that she avoided seeing her family during this time because she knew law enforcement was searching for her.

At the punishment portion of the May 2025 jury trial, ACA Johnson advised the jury that the Defendant was long overdue for reaping the consequences of his actions.

On March 26, 2025, Julio Chapa, 54, was sentenced to two stacked 50 years sentences for two counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

On January 7, 2025, Judge Patrick Flanigan sentenced Adrian Tovar Martinez, age 44, to two life sentences for the offenses of Aggravated Sexual Assault.
