CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On June 4, 2025, at approximately 3:56 pm, officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Western Dr. in reference to a disturbance in progress. The call came in as an open-line disturbance between a male and a female.

Officers arrived and observed the male suspect, who quickly shut the front door, and a female standing in the front yard with apparent minor injuries. A perimeter was set, and SWAT, HNT, and the Drone Unit were called to the scene.

A while later, HNT contacted a male in his 60s from inside the residence. The male eventually released an elderly female. A short while later, the male suspect surrendered and was taken into custody without issue.

All parties were checked by medics on scene. The male was transported to a local hospital for evaluation due to injuries acquired during the initial disturbance.

The male is facing charges for Burglary with the Intent to Commit a Felony.
