UPDATE: June 5, 2025, 8:54 pm, Aurora has been located and is reunited with family.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - The Corpus Christi Police Department is requesting your assistance in locating an elderly female missing from the area. Aurora Margarita Barrera, age 85, was last observed at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 2800 Elizabeth Street. Aurora suffers from early stages of dementia.

Aurora stands at a height of 5 feet 1 inch and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She was dressed in a light pink shirt featuring black and white stripes on the sleeves and grey shorts.

If you observe Aurora or are aware of her current location, please promptly contact 911.
