Robstown ISD Terminates Auxiliary Employee Following Arrest

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS (News Release) - The Robstown Independent School District announced Wednesday that it has terminated an auxiliary employee following the individual's arrest by the Federal Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
According to a statement from Superintendent Dr. Marc Puig, the arrest was the result of a multi-agency operation led by Homeland Security Investigations.
District officials said they acted immediately upon learning of the arrest, terminating the employee's employment.
Authorities have confirmed that no Robstown ISD student was involved in the investigation, according to the district.
In a message to families and staff, Dr. Puig emphasized that student safety remains the district's top priority.
"The safety and security of our children remain our highest priority and will never be compromised," Puig said. "Thank you for your continued trust and vigilance."
The district did not release the name of the former employee or provide additional details about the investigation, citing information provided by law enforcement. The case remains under investigation by federal authorities.
