Authorities Execute Search Warrant in Robstown, Arrest Three on Child Exploitation and Narcotics Charges

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS (News Release) - In a coordinated operation on May 6, 2026, Homeland Security Investigations Internet Crimes Against Children (HSI ICAC) Task Force, Nueces County Sheriff’s Office, Robstown Police Department ICAC detectives, and the Corpus Christi Police Department SWAT Team executed a search warrant in the 500 block of East Ligustrum in Robstown.
During the operation, HSI ICAC agents arrested 30-year-old Daniel Flores on charges related to the promotion and possession of child pornography.
Authorities also detained 25-year-old Joel Luis Salinas and 22-year-old Isabella Garcia, who were occupants of the residence. During the detention, officers discovered cocaine in Salinas’ pocket.
While securing the residence, members of the CCPD SWAT Team observed a large bag of marijuana in plain view inside the bedroom shared by Salinas and Garcia. Because the original search warrant did not authorize a narcotics search, the residence was secured while detectives with the Robstown Police Department Organized Crime Unit obtained a separate narcotics search warrant.

After the warrant was approved by a district judge, investigators searched the residence and seized approximately 70 grams of cocaine, 8 ounces of marijuana, 161 grams of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), 26 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and five handguns. One of the firearms was identified as a stolen Corpus Christi Police Department weapon reported stolen in 1987.
HSI ICAC is leading the investigation involving Flores. The Robstown Police Department is leading the narcotics investigation involving Salinas and Garcia.
The investigation remains ongoing.
