Officers Arrest Teen for Racing on Highway

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 12:25 am, officers observed a black passenger car traveling over 100 miles per hour at the 4300 block of Highway 358 eastbound.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at Everhart/SPID.

The driver, 19-year-old Kaden Perales, was immediately arrested for racing on the highway and his vehicle was impounded. He was transported to the City Detention Center for booking.
