Narcotics Search Warrant Leads to an Arrest

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS - (News Release) On 08-01-2024 Detectives assigned to the Robstown Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit along with Patrol Division and with the assistance of Nueces County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office, and Kingsville Police Department’s SWAT Team executed a Narcotics Search Warrant at a residence on the 600 block of East Avenue G.
During the search officers and detectives found 37 individual wrapped bags of cocaine ready for distribution weighing approximately 9.71 grams, a stolen .380 handgun, a Springfield 1911 handgun that was seized along with magazines, ammunition, and a 50 round magazine drum.
The female suspect, Linda Baxter, was arrested and charged with Manufacture or Delivery of Controlled Substance PG 1 four grams or more but less than two hundred grams along with Theft Possession of a Stolen Firearm. The Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance offense is a felony of the first degree punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life or for a term of not more than 99 years or less than 10 years, and a fine not to exceed $100,000.
