Agricultural Equipment Struck Electrical Line Outside Bishop City Limits

BISHOP - On April 17, 2023, at approximately 9:45 pm, AEP Texas reported a problem with a substation that caused most of Bishop to be without power for about 2 hours. Bishop Police Department confirmed on social media that the outage is believed to have been caused by agricultural equipment that struck an electrical line outside the city limits.
