CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - (News Release) On November 18, 2024, at about 6:03 pm Corpus Christi Police officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of Everhart Rd in reference to a stabbing. Officers arrived at the business and located a 35-year-old male victim. The male was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

Officers secured the scene and began to contact witnesses and employees.

The preliminary investigation showed the victim was terminated from his place of employment earlier in the day. The place of employment was adjacent to where the victim was found.

Witnesses stated the victim had come back to work several times throughout the day to harass and threaten employees. The police were called several times, but the male would runaway before the police would arrive.

53-year-old Margarito Cisneros.

The last time the victim showed up he began to assault an ex-co-worker in the parking lot.

The victim then approached another ex co -worker. The ex co worker then stabbed the victim.

The offender was identified as 53-year-old Margarito Cisneros. He was ultimately arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly weapon. Cisneros was transported to the city detention center.

This is still an active investigation.
