Young Kingsville Resident Receives a Special Gift

Kleberg County Attorney’s Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - (News Release) On April 24,2025, the Kleberg County Attorney’s Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force was contacted by the family of Paisley Mae Rabe, a 4-year-old Kingsville resident battling Acute B cell lymphoblastic leukemia.

The Task Force was informed that Paisley likes to collect law enforcement memorabilia, such as challenge coins and patches, as she sees it as a sign of bravery and protection. The family provided their address and asked if the Task Force could mail the items.

Special Agent E. Gonzalez prioritized hand-delivering a challenge coin and patch to Paisley and her family as he wanted to see her reaction firsthand.

Paisley, unfortunately, was at school at the time, but her mother was there to receive the items. That evening, Paisley’s mother reached out to the Task Force to show them how excited Paisley was when she received her challenge coin and patch.

Paisley was so excited she described herself as a lucky duck.
