SINTON, TEXAS - (News Release) Corpus Christi Police Department said their final goodbyes to Senior Officer Vicente Ortiz Jr. at his funeral service on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the San Patricio Fairgrounds in Sinton.

Officer Ortiz was struck by a vehicle on May 21st while escorting a funeral procession and later succumbed to his injuries.
