Vehicle Crash in San Patricio County

SAN PATRICIO COUNTY, TEXAS - (News Release) A crash on Texas Highway 89 and US Highway 77 took place when a vehicle failed to yield at a Stop Intersection Crossing.

Deputies Benavidez & Davila were able to extricate an 11-month-old baby in the back seat and handed over to Allegiance EMS who started CPR.

Mother & child were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The father was driving.

The San Patricio County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Texas Department of Transportation to install flashing red Stop signs in hopes to slow down the crashes at intersection.
