Two Injured in Bishop Intersection Crash

BISHOP, TEXAS (News Release) - Around 5:50 p.m. on Monday, October 6, Nueces County Constables Precinct 3, ESD-3 Fire Rescue, ESD-6, Bishop Police Department, and local ambulance services responded to a major accident at the intersection of 2nd Street and Avenue D.

According to officials, a white sedan traveling north on Avenue D reportedly ran a stop sign and was struck by an SUV traveling west on 2nd Street. A 10-year-old passenger in the sedan was taken to Driscoll Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the red SUV was transported to Kleberg Hospital for treatment.

Both vehicles were removed from the scene by wreckers.
