Temporary Street Closures for the Weeks of April 19 – May 14, 2021

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - The City of Corpus Christi’s Department of Public Works In-House Rehabilitation crews will begin work on 12 City street blocks in the Del Mar area. The work is scheduled to begin on April 19, 2021 and run through May 14, 2021. The rehabilitation work will be completed in four phases with each phase taking approximately one week to complete.
Phase I – Southern St. from Ocean Dr. to Alameda St. April 19 – 23, 2021
Phase II – Atlantic St. from Ocean Dr. to Alameda St. April 26 – 30. 2021
Phase III – Southern St. from Alameda St. to Sixteenth St. May 3 – 7, 2021
Phase IV – Atlantic St. from Alameda St. to Sixteenth St. May 10 – 14, 2021
The Department of Public Works is requesting that residents who live in these areas not park on the street to allow our crews to complete work on the entire street. Detours will be in place while work is being completed. Motorists are advised to slow down, follow posted speed limits, obey signs, pay attention and watch out for workers.
