TAMUK Hosts Trailblazing Frontiers Symposium

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS (News Release) - Texas A&M university-Kingsville welcomed student affairs professionals, administrators, and campus partners from across the Texas A&M University System for the Trailblazing Frontiers Symposium on Monday at the Steven H. Tallant Music Building
The symposium, runs through Wednesday May 20, serves as a systemwide convening space for leaders in student services and administration who are committed to advancing cross-institutional collaboration, sharing evidence-informed practices, and building sustainable partnerships that support student achievement.

Topics discussed during the symposium include the PV Cares Student Success Model, Artificial Intelligence, the utilization of Academic Support Services and Student Care.
There will be expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and collaborative networking opportunities for participants as they explore practical, student-centered strategies designed to strengthen institutional effectiveness and enhance the overall student experience.

Tuesday will open with a president’s panel at 9 a.m., followed by breakout sessions throughout the day, and a Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council Student Panel at 3 p.m. The day will wrap up Rodeo Roundup which will include fun festivities for attendees from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the JK Northway Expo Center at 501 Escondido Rd, Kingsville, TX, 78363.
