Suspicious Person Arrested for Multiple Warrants

PREMONT, TEXAS (News Release) - On March 18, 2024, Premont Police Department (PPD) Patrol Officers were called out by a concerned citizen in reference to a suspicious person. Patrol Officers searched and made contact with Michael Saldivar, who they recognized and had knowledge of having arrest warrants from several agencies.

Saldivar was arrested and transported to the Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center for Criminal Trespass from Premont Police Department, Parole Violation from Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and a Motion to Revoke for a Violation Protective Order from Jim Wells Sheriffs Office.
