Good Samaritans Assist in Rollover Accident

DRISCOLL, TEXAS (News Release) - On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at approximately 9 am, Nueces County Constable's Office Pct 3 Deputies along with ESD3, Allegiance, Annaville Fire and Rescue, Nueces County Sheriff's Office and Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover. This occurred on US. Highway 77 just south of FM 665.

Upon arrival, the Deputies made contact with Donnie Bourne. Mr. Bourne advised that prior to the First Responders arrival, he and two other subjects removed the front windshield and assisted with removing the two female occupants. The two female subjects were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The other two Good Samaritans left before being identified.

Texas DPS is currently investigating the crash.
