Stop the Bleed
Annaville Fire Department
On July 30th, the Annaville Fire Department was invited out to the Robstown High School Auditorium to help instruct a STOP THE BLEED (STB) course that was provided for 175 Navasota ISD teachers and administrators. They are here visiting the Coastal Bend for an orientation and reached out to have their staff members trained in STB. This course takes (roughly) one hour, but the skills obtained are LIFE-SAVING in certain situations. External bleeding is the # 1 cause of PREVENTABLE death! Great job to everyone that helped lend knowledge and expertise to their members. Other Instructors were there to help on behalf of Robstown Fire Department, Allegiance Mobile Health, Education Service Center Region 2, Christus Spohn, and HCA Healthcare.
