Stand-Off Ends with an Arrest

CALALLEN, TEXAS - (News Release) After a five hour stand-off with a barricaded male subject inside a storage unit in Calallen, it ended in the arrest of one male subject.
This started in Western Duval County when U.S Border Agents attempted to get the male driver to stop for a search .
The driver of the vehicle fled and evaded agents which engaged in a pursuit.
The pursued lead to Calallen, where the subject drove into a storage unit and barricaded himself.
With the help of State Police, U.S Federal Agents, Texas Rangers and several local agencies, the situation ended peacefully and no one was injured. The Special Response Team (SRT) handled the entry and was successful in taking the male subject into custody.
