Shooting Incident in Alice, Texas: One Fatality, Two in Critical Condition
At approximately 1:00 a.m. on November 6, 2024, the Alice Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on the 1000 block of N. Wright in Alice, Texas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male lying face down in the driveway. Inside the residence, officers found a second male and a female who had also sustained gunshot wounds.
All three individuals were immediately transported to Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Sadly, the female victim, identified as Kirsten Saenz, was pronounced dead at 3:05 a.m. after succumbing to her injuries. Both male victims remain in critical condition.
The suspect, identified as Matthew Garcia of Alice, Texas, is currently wanted for murder and two counts of aggravated assault. The Alice Police Department is actively searching for Garcia and urges anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact local law enforcement immediately.
