Rolling Disturbance Call Leads to an Arrest

NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS (News Release) On October 18, 2024, at about 5 pm, Nueces County Constables Pct 3 deputies, Bishop Police Department and Nueces County deputies responded to a rolling disturbance in progress on FM 70 Near County Road. 55. Reporter stated the passenger was pulling the steering wheel of the vehicle, trying to make them go into oncoming traffic, putting them and the motoring public at risk. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver who had injuries to their neck.

The passenger was arrested for assault family violence and was transported to Nueces County Jail.
