Newest Sergeant of Internal Affairs

NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS - (News Release) On Monday August 5th, Sheriff JC Hooper swore in our newest Nueces County Sheriff’s Deputy, Danny Galvez, as Sergeant of Internal Affairs.
Sergeant Galvez has been in law enforcement and investigations for 11 years.
His career began as a Patrol Deputy at the Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office. While there, he was promoted to Patrol Sergeant, worked in the Criminal Investigations Division and Internal Affairs, acted as a Crime Stoppers Coordinator, and the Evidence Tech.
He most recently held a position with the State of Texas, investigating crimes against children, working with several agencies such as Homeland Security, ATF, DEA, FBI, and the Texas Rangers.
