NEC to Give $30,000 to Deserving Teachers

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - Get ready to light up your classrooms with NEC Co-op Energy's Supply a teacher program. This year NEC Co-op Energy is granting $30,000 to exceptional member teachers.
“This is a huge deal for us teachers! I usually budget $50 from each paycheck to purchase additional supplies for my students. Having the opportunity to be awarded funds for our classrooms from NEC Co-op Energy would give us the breathing room we all need,” voiced Celinda Castro, a local kindergarten educator.

Any teacher who is an NEC Co-op Energy member can submit an application. In addition to receiving a grant, awarded teachers will also be recognized on NEC’s social media page (www.facebook.com/neccoopenergy), on their official website (www.NECcoopenergy.com), in the Texas Co-op Power magazine, in the monthly member newsletter, and in person at our NEC headquarters.
Application deadline is Saturday, June 15th deadline before 5:00pm.
