Robstown, TEXAS (News Release) - Nueces Electric Cooperative (NEC) is proud to continue its annual tradition of investing in the future of local students through two impactful programs: the NEC Scholarship Program and the Government-in-Action Youth Tour. These initiatives are designed to support, inspire, and empower high school juniors and seniors across our service area.

Youth Tour (Deadline: February 1, 2026) Each year, NEC selects high school juniors to participate in the Government-in-Action Youth Tour. In addition to the trip, participants receive $250 in spending money and a $1,000 scholarship to support their educational journey.
