BISHOP (News Release) - On February 9, at approximately 12:39 pm, Nueces County Constable Pct 3 Deputies along with Officers with the Bishop Police Department responded to a major traffic accident on Business 77 near Main St.

Just before the accident occurred, 911 calls were placed that a Cadillac was driving Northbound in the Southbound Lane. The driver of the Cadillac appeared to be suffering a medical emergency before hitting a Jeep.

The driver of the Cadillac was transported to Spohn Hospital in Kleberg.

The driver of the Jeep was treated at the scene by medics but was not transported.
