Major Accident on Hwy 77 and CR 10

BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) On Wednesday June 19th at 3:41pm, Pct 3 Constables, Bishop Police Department and Emergency Service District-3 were dispatched to Highway 77 and County Road 10 for a major accident.

A red SUV was traveling Southbound on Highway 77 when it lost control and spun out of control striking large "I" beam posts directional sign. The vehicle traveled approximately 100 yards onto the grassy median onto the access road facing North.

Air bags were deployed, and no major injuries reported.

Emergency Medical Services assessed the driver and left. Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
