Local Resident Receives Letter of Commendation
Jimmy Rivera, Nueces County Constable Precinct 3
BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) On Monday 9-23-2024, the Nueces County Constable’s Office-Precinct 3, had the honor of presenting Ms. Betty Jo Perez with a letter of commendation. This presentation took place at the Bishop ISD school board meeting.
On 9-16-2024, Betty witnessed a hit and run accident in which a child was struck. Without regard for her own safety, she followed the driver to an address in Bishop. Betty reported the location of the driver which enabled law enforcement to contact the driver and take appropriate action.
