Intermittent Intersection Closures Expected on Everhart Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – (News Release) Throughout October, utility line updates will result in intermittent intersection closures on Everhart Road between South Padre Island Drive and South Alameda Street. Most of the closures will be where Everhart Road intersects with Avalon Street and the east side of Harry Street, though additional closures may be necessary.

The full project's completion is expected in late fall of 2026.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
