LJH One Act Play Receives 1st Place in District 30-AAA

Under the direction of Rick Saenz and Elle Escobedo, Luehrs Junior High theater students recently competed at district 30-AAA UIL and won 1st place for their One Act Play titled “The Girl in the White Pinafore”, by Jiggs Burgess.
A public performance will take place once the renovations to the Joe D. Trevino auditorium are completed.
Individual Awards: Best Performer - Aaron Gaytan, All Star Cast - Jazlyn Rodriguez, Ysabella Garza, All Star Tech - Daniel Alvarez, Honorable Mention - Jada Miramontes, Andres Benavente, Garrison Garza
