Large Fire West of TAMUK Vet Tech
KINGSVILLE - First responders in Kingsville are on the scene of a fire near Texas A&M University-Kingsville farm that started around 2:30 pm. The Vet Tech facility, farm and parts of the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Center have been evacuated. The University Emergency Management Team will update the campus community via email and social media.
According to a press release from the King Ranch, the fire began off of ranch property and traveled onto the ranch.
