Kleberg County Task Force Find "Grinch-like" Activities

Kleberg County Attorney's Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force

KINGSVILLE (News Release) - On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Kleberg County Task Force Agents conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 77 with a Mexican National.

During the roadside interview, taskforce agents believed the driver was involved in criminal activity. While searching the vehicle, a total of $34, 0000 was discovered. The bundles were located inside of recently purchased toy boxes, which the driver stated were Christmas gifts.

The currency was found to be from illegal activity.
