Kingsville Man Charged with Murder

KIKINGSVILLE - On March 27, police officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of West Lee. Upon arrival, officers found Aurora Perez had been shot. She later died from her injuries on April 3.
Police arrested 25-year-old Jesus Herrera on multiple charges including murder and evading arrest.
According to the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office website, Herrera is charged with murder, aggravated assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily injury to a family member, possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest and evading arrest with a vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and striking an unattended vehicle.
Bond is set to $339,516.10.
