CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – City Manager Peter Zanoni provided City Council with the Second Quarter update on the City’s Infrastructure Management Plan.

This plan includes a list of neighborhoods, arterial and collector streets for street maintenance work to be completed as part of the City’s Street Maintenance Program. The IMP is a five-year rolling program that focuses on the maintenance of Corpus Christi streets.

City Council approved the first two years of the program in October 2020 and in December 2020, City Council approved the subsequent fiscal years, FY 2023 to FY 2025.

Summarizing the first and second-quarter results for the Fiscal Year 2021, a total of 132 projects were either in design, in construction, or had completed construction. 83 projects have been completed totaling 55.5 lane miles.

During the annual budget process, the IMP will be presented to City Council for review and approval of the list of streets for FY 2026. Upon adoption of the City’s annual budget, the IMP will be updated on the City’s website.
