Illegal Immigrants Involved in Dangerous Car Chase Between 2 Counties

BISHOP (News Release) - On Wednesday, October 12 at around 4:50 pm, Bishop Police Department Patrol Units and Nueces County Pct-3 Constable Deputies were on the scene with Kleberg County Sheriff's Office units, who were involved in a vehicle pursuit that began in Kleberg County and entered Nueces County. The pursuit came to an end when the vehicle came to a stop and the occupants bailed out of the vehicle, at U.S. Highway 77 access road Northbound and County Road 12, in Bishop.

The driver and another occupant were immediately found.

Three (3) additional subjects fled into a nearby neighborhood. Officers set up a perimeter and found the remaining subjects.

All persons involved are suspected to be undocumented immigrants.
