Human Remains Discovered Along Kleberg County Beach

KLEBERG COUNTY, TEXAS (News Release) - The Texas Rangers are currently investigating human remains that were discovered on Tuesday evening along a shoreline area in Kleberg County.

In a statement released by the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers reported receiving a call at around 7:45 p.m. concerning human remains that were seen on the shoreline.

Texas Rangers from the Padre Island National Seashore came out to confirm the discovery of the suspected human remains.

Deputies of the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office, alongside other law enforcement units that offered assistance, secured the scene while the investigation was still ongoing.

The Texas Department of Public Safety's Texas Rangers Division is leading the investigation at this point.

As of now, officials have failed to identify the deceased individual. Further investigation and forensics will be done to determine the cause of death.
