SUFFOLK, VIRGINIA (News Release) - On September 11, 2025, Rear Adm. James Waters, Commander, Navy Recruiting Command, left, presents a Bravo Zulu belt buckle to Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Equipment) 2nd Class Andy Mata, assigned to Navy Recruiting Station Suffolk, Virginia, from Sinton, Texas, during a regional engagement tour in Virginia.

During the visit, Waters recognized the efforts of frontline recruiters and reinforced the command’s commitment to local outreach and talent acquisition.
