Foam Party a Big Hit at National Night Out in Bishop
BISHOP - On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, local Bishop law enforcement units and emergency dispatch personnel hosted the annual National Night Out (NNO) at Bishop City Park.
NNO is an annual community campaign that provides an opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances to make neighborhoods safer.
According to the NNO website, it was introduced in August of 1984 through a network of law enforcement agencies, civic groups, crime prevention associations, and volunteers across the nation.
The first National Night Out had an estimated 2.5 million people across 400 communities in 23 states.
