Dumpster Fire at Gas Station

BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) On July 2, 2024, at approximately 1:00 pm, Nueces County Precinct 3 Deputies observed a dumpster on fire in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station located at East Main and South Ash in Bishop.

Firefighters with Nueces County Emergency Service District 3 responded to the fire. The fire may have started from a small trailer that was heating tar for roof repair.

No other property and no city services were affected.
