Driver Missing in Single Vehicle Accident

BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) On August 9, 2024, at approximately 12:43 am Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 Deputies along with Bishop Police Department officers responded to a possible single vehicle accident on US HWY 77 South Bound near County Road 10.
Upon arrival, officers found an unoccupied single vehicle in the drainage ditch with front end damage, air bags deployed, and there was a damaged light pole. Officers searched the area around the vehicle, Bishop Police Department officers drove the area, and to local businesses to possibly locate anyone who was involved.
Officers were unable to locate anyone.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers were called to investigate this accident further.
