In addition to distributing backpacks filled with school supplies, families had access to a variety of free services, including sports physicals, medical screenings, and immunizations, helping ensure students are healthy and ready for the first day of school.
The Corpus Christi Police Department credited the success of the event to the support of community partners, sponsors, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and donors who contributed their time and resources to serve thousands of families throughout the Coastal Bend.
Officials said the annual initiative reflects the department's ongoing commitment to supporting local youth and helping students begin the school year with the tools and confidence they need to succeed.
The Corpus Christi Police Department also extended its best wishes to students, teachers, and school staff for a safe, successful, and productive school year.
