BREAKING: External threat Alert Outside US Capitol Building
WASHINGTON D.C. (News Release) - U.S. Capital Police (USCP) are responding to the North Barricade vehicle access point along Independence Avenue for reports someone rammed a vehicle into two USCP officers.
A suspect is in custody. Both officers are injured. All three have been transported to the hospital.
This is a breaking story and we’ll update as soon as more information becomes available.
This video is taken from the Russell Senate Office Building just across Constitution Avenue. You can see a dark colored car smashed into one of the vehicle barriers guarding the Capitol Plaza on the Senate side.
