Bishop PD Respond to Reported Disturbance

BISHOP, TEXAS (News Release) - At approximately 7:12 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, officers with the Bishop Police Department responded to a reported disturbance in the 400 block of East 4th Street. Following a preliminary investigation, a male individual was taken into custody in connection with reported property damage.
55-year-old Armando J. Garcia.
The individual, identified as 55-year-old Armando J. Garcia, was arrested without incident and transported to the Nueces County Jail. He was booked on a charge of Criminal Mischief, a State Jail Felony under Texas Penal Code § 28.03(b)(4)(A), relating to alleged damage to property in an amount equal to or greater than $2,500 but less than $30,000.
This arrest stems from initial findings reported by witnesses and observed by responding officers. As the case remains under active investigation and pending review by the District Attorney’s Office, no further details will be released at this time.
