Alice Man Arrested on Aggravated Robbery Warrant

ALICE, TEXAS (News Release) - An Alice man was arrested Friday after law enforcement agencies worked together to execute an outstanding warrant in the city.

The Alice Police Department, United States Marshals Service, Texas Ranger Robert Montalvo and the Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office executed the arrest warrant at approximately 4 p.m. Aug. 7 near the 1500 block of Elvira Street in Alice.
Authorities identified the suspect as Roberto Ramirez of Alice. Ramirez was taken into custody without incident on an Alice Police Department warrant charging him with aggravated robbery.
Ramirez was booked into the Jim Wells County Jail, where he remained in custody, according to the Jim Wells County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office credited the participating agencies for their cooperation and assistance in the arrest operation, noting their efforts in support of public safety.
