CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - The first baby of the New Year at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area was born just minutes after midnight.

Hospital officials said a baby girl named Spadelyn was delivered at 12:14 am on New Year’s Day, marking the facility’s first birth of the year.
